On behalf of the children, staff and Governors, welcome to Honeywell Junior School. We are an inclusive state school in Wandsworth that serves a loyal and proactive community. Working in close partnership with Honeywell Infant School, sharing the site, families, ethos and values, we are proud of the positive partnership between children, parent/carers, staff and the community that makes our school such a special place.
Here, we aim to meet the educational challenges of the 21st century where children work hard, work together and reach their full potential. We promote a culture that encourages children to enjoy learning, develop their skills and talents, and celebrate and share their successes. Our belief is that children learn best when they feel safe, happy, and are valued. At Honeywell Juniors, we prioritise social and emotional education through developing self-esteem, respect and tolerance for all. As a Rights Respecting School, we aim to provide our pupils with the skills to live in modern Britain as responsible citizens who understand themselves, their world and their place in it. Children at Honeywell are encouraged to have high expectations of themselves, be proud of their individuality and respect difference. We are supportive, kind and respectful. The children are at the heart of all our work and we value the contribution each and every child makes.
The Honeywell Curriculum is engaging, stimulating and responsive, enabling the children a breadth of study, with a wealth of positive learning opportunities for all. We use research and our children to mould our curriculum offer so they make links between areas of learning and travel beyond the classroom to extend their experience, perspectives and understanding. We aim for them to acquire an intellectual curiosity that supports their journey into becoming lifelong learners.
We hope you enjoy visiting our website. Please come and see Honeywell learning and teaching in action. For an appointment, please contact the school office.
